(and the feeling of Here With Friends)

when was

the last time something arrived just for you?

Not a bill or an Amazon package. Something written just for you...without you having to manage it.

We do the hard part. You do the soft part--sit down for 20 minutes and share a piece of your inner world with a woman you haven't met yet.

ANSWERS TO THE THINGS WOMEN ASK US THE MOST

CAN'T FIND YOUR ANSWER?

So I don’t mail my letter?

Correct. You answer your prompts by email — that's your only job. We take it from there: design the letter, print it on beautiful paper, add stickers and small extra somethings, address it to your pen pal, and mail it. You will never touch a stamp.

How long does it take to complete the prompts?

Most women spend 10–20 minutes. The prompts are designed to be easy to start — often you'll find yourself writing more than you expected because the question unlocked something. There's no minimum length. That said, pen pals are paired in part by length, so write toward what you’d like to receive.

When do sign-ups open and close?

We start a new post, or mailing cycle, every six weeks, and we offer a total of 8 posts a year. Dates and details for each post--deadlines, estimated mailing dates, the town hall date, and more--can be found through the purchase buttons, which takes you to the current post.

What if I need to change my address?

No problem, just contact us through the form on the contact page before the post cut-off date, and we’ll update your address.

Can I cancel my recurring membership anytime?

Of course--simply complete the cancellation form on the cancel page before the post cut-off date.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final, and you’re always free to cancel your recurring membership here at any time before the post cut-off date.

How are pen pals matched?

We take the matching seriously. We pair you by hand based on a few ‘secret sauce’ elements we only share over mocktails. We look for someone who understands you and maybe surprises you a bit, too.

Do I meet my pen pal or know who they are?

At first, no. Each letter is sent anonymously. At the end of each Post cycle, we offer pen pals the option to be connected if both parties request it. Some pen pals remain anonymous, some become virtual or IRL friends. There's no right way to be here.

What if I don’t know what to say? Is it awkward?

You should never feel pressure to be ‘on’ or impressive, just honest. We spend an unreasonable amount of time crafting each Post’s prompts to help you feel more like you as you write. And all letters are sent anonymously, so there’s no pressure to perform.

Great letters aren’t polished or LinkedIn ready. They are written like you’ve already taken your bra off, washed your face, and all that’s left is the real you, typos and all.

Will this feel like work, or something I have to keep up with?

We don’t know a single woman who needs another thing on her to-do list. We handle all the long sigh inducing stuff--the printing, the stamping, the post office trip. Spend as much time as works for you on answering the prompts. Luxuriate in the experience, or keep it short and sweet. Either way, it’s as simple as sending an email.

Are there rules or guidelines about what we can or can’t write?

The simple answer is that someone you don’t know is inviting you into her world, so we ask that you be genuine and generous with her. Perfect, preachy, or polarizing content has plenty of other homes. If your letter feels too much like a Facebook town page debate or an overly polished LinkedIn essay, start again.

She’s here to be let into your inner world, to see herself in your words. To hear from the real you. That’s rare, sacred, and special, and that’s what we’re here for.
